OPCMIA 919 welcomes new crane safety regulations in B.C.

OPCMIA Local 919 members will be safer on the job thanks to new crane safety regulations being brought in by the province.

A new WorkSafeBC crane licensing and permitting program will ensure that only highly qualified personnel will be able to operate and oversee cranes in this province.

There have been far too many crane incidents in recent years, and we hope these new changes stop any further tragedies from taking place.
