Election time is upon us. The next BC election is October 19, 2024. No matter how you vote, getting out and expressing that right matters!
When considering who to vote for, please consider who will support you as a union construction worker or even your friends working non union construction for that matter. The OPCMIA Local 919 would like you to consider voting for the BC NDP. Operating as a union we would like to see a government that-
- Protects our paycheques and working conditions.
- Takes action on health and safety issues in the workplace (such as asbestos exposure and sanitation issues)
- Builds upon our apprenticeship training.
- Supports our rights to pensions, wages and benefits.
With the BC NDP, we have a group that will listen and take the issues of our members into consideration.
